Changing Scientific Ideals and Idols in the History of Psychoanalysis,

Through a careful filosofical and psychoanalytical examination of the concepts of idol and ideal, the author attempts to reflect about the risk that theory (and the faithful allegiance to a group) run of transforming themselves in idols in order to obtain reassurance and relief of tensions provoked by virtue of doubts and change.
