The object in Psychoanalysis,
Jaqueline Amati Mehler

Through a careful investigation of the concept of object in psychoanalysis, the author examins its meaning and its clinical-theoretical use from the beginnings of freudian metapsychology up to relevant postfreudian authors.
The exploration of different theoretical models aims to establish conceptual bridges wherever possible and particularly in relation to drive vicissitudes and structural organization.
