SUMMARY

The author reflections regard the concepts reconciliation, restoration and reparation from the metapsychological viewpoint and from the perspective of the "theory of the cure", in relation to the use that Freud makes of such concepts. He points out the difference between these concepts and refers to the risks that psychoanalysts may run into if their meaning and use overlaps.
