The unconscius concept development and analyst's identity

SUMMARY


In this paper, the unconscius is reviewed beginning from Freud's first writings, to bring out various aspects of this notion evolution, its impact on theory and the effect of these changes on the practise of psychoanalysis as well as the identity of the analyst.
